Service Description
An osteopathy session is a gentle, hands-on treatment focused on relieving pain, improving mobility, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. The session begins with a detailed case history, where we will discuss your history, lifestyle, and presenting symptoms. This is followed by a physical assessment, including postural analysis, joint range of motion testing, and palpation to identify areas of restriction, dysfunction, or imbalance. Treatment may involve a combination of techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint articulation, muscle energy techniques and myofascial release. These techniques aim not only to restore physical function but also to support nervous system downregulation, helping reduce stress responses and promote a state of physiological balance and relaxation. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, with the goal of improving overall alignment, musculoskeletal health and enhancing the body’s capacity for self-regulation and healing.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask all clients to review and adhere to the following appointment booking policy to help us provide the best possible service to everyone: 1. **Booking Appointments** Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person during business hours. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. 2. **Confirmation** All appointments will be confirmed via email. Please ensure your contact details are up to date so we can reach you. 3. Deposits A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. This will be applied toward your final bill and is non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. 4. **24-Hour Cancellation Policy** We kindly request at least **24 hours’ notice** if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us enough time to offer the slot to another client. - Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee. - Repeated short-notice cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments. - Emergencies will, of course, be taken into consideration — we appreciate your communication. 5. **Late Arrivals** Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, let us know as soon as possible. Depending on the delay, we may need to reschedule or shorten your session to avoid inconveniencing other clients. However, if you do arrive late and it is possible, the full length of your session will still be honoured. 6. **No-Shows** Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice may be charged a no-show fee and may be required to prepay for future bookings. 7. **Respect and Courtesy** We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our policy.
